Each company’s founding DNA governs us:

  • WESMAR, originating as Western Marine Electronics, developed the world’s first solid-state sonar in 1965, and has gone on to develop the world’s first video sounder, first continuous-picture color sonar, and first dual-propeller counter rotational bow and stern thruster.
  • ABT-TRAC, which began as Arcturus Marine Systems in 1986, recently introduced the industry’s first electrically driven stabilizers, delivering hydraulic performance without hydraulic overhead.
  • SmartCatch started in 2012 by developing “eyes in the net” underwater video technology to reduce commercial fishing bycatch, make the industry more sustainable, and make fishermen more successful.

Safety, pleasure and profit for people who value them most

Whether for pleasure or business, Inov8v customers tend to be people who find themselves in demanding marine environments, far from home. Therefore, Inov8v customers value systems that perform.
